FOMWAN Lagos Humanitarian Ambassadors Distribute School Bags and Stationery to Indigent and Physically Challenged Students

In commemoration of the 40th Anniversary of the Federation of Muslim Women’s Associations in Nigeria (FOMWAN), the FOMWAN Lagos Humanitarian Ambassadors carried out a remarkable act of service through their Back-to-School Program.

During the State General Meeting held at Layeni Central Mosque, Ajeromi-Ifelodun Local Government Area, Lagos on Sunday, 31st August 2025, the team distributed thirty (30) school bags and stationery to indigent and physically challenged students across all Local Government branches in the state.

The initiative was aimed at supporting vulnerable children and easing the financial burden on their families as the new school session begins. It also reflects FOMWAN’s enduring commitment to education, inclusivity, and community welfare, values that have defined the organization throughout its 40 years of impactful service.

The program was graced by representatives of the FOMWAN Lagos Humanitarian Ambassadors.

The gesture not only provided essential learning materials but also renewed hope and encouragement for the beneficiaries, affirming that FOMWAN Lagos remains a strong pillar of support for the less privileged in society.
